ABOUT

🎙️Mobilizing Community Action Through Media

Koch FM is a community radio station founded in 2006 by a group of ten youth from the sprawling Korogocho informal settlement in Nairobi. The station was established to give urban youth a platform to discuss issues affecting their lives and to develop practical solutions.

Our primary audience is young people, and we proudly serve communities across Nairobi’s eastern region, including Korogocho, Kariobangi, Huruma, Mathare, Babadogo, Dandora, and parts of Mwiki, Kayole, and Umoja.

Our editorial content is carefully tailored to address the social and economic challenges facing our audience, ensuring that every program is relevant, informative, and impactful.
